This month, our cover theme is “doing more with less”, to coincide with Charity Finance Week (2-6 October). Nick Moore suggests some ways that charities can react to these difficult times and make sure they are well-positioned to thrive when better economic times return.
Also included is our annual Charity Shops Survey. During the pandemic, we reduced the size of the survey in reaction to the extraordinary pressures the charity retail sector found itself under. This year, in response to feedback from readers, we have reinstated some of the questions that were removed as part of a plan to rebuild to the survey to a pre-pandemic level in the coming years.
In addition, we look at annual reports and accounts, current investment issues, board and committee meetings and more.
