What does Foodcyle do and how does it raise funds?

We provide hot nutritious meals for anyone who needs them using food that would otherwise go to waste. We help combat loneliness and isolation by providing a safe, friendly space for people to come, eat and talk to each other. When food is served, volunteers and guests sit down to eat together.

We have an average yearly income of around £1.2m. Traditionally, a lot of that has been from trusts and foundations. But over the last few years corporate fundraising has really grown, to the extent where it now accounts for around 40% of our income, and a major focus of our fundraising is to grow this to 50%. Our success so far has partly been driven by a few key partnerships with JustEat, Quorn and Cook. These are strong, longterm partnerships that have been really beneficial to us.
