For a decade and a half, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering for Mutual Support, an organisation close to my heart. My wife was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) 20 years ago, and we first found Mutual Support during that time. For the past 15 years, we’ve volunteered for the organisation to give back for the invaluable support we have received.

Our wellbeing weekends are a cornerstone of what Mutual Support does. I've seen firsthand how profoundly they impact our members and their families. Our group, comprised of current and former military personnel affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), depends on these events for connection, support and respite. At the most recent weekend, we welcomed 70 members. However, organising these weekends has sometimes been a struggle, particularly when it comes to sourcing affordable, reliable care.
