What's in March 2018's issue of Governance & Leadership?

15 Mar 2018 In-depth

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil: How would your charity cope in a crisis?

In the wake of crises in safeguarding in international aid charities and elsewhere, March's Governance & Leadership magazine looks at how your charity would cope in a crisis.

This month's magazine includes different articles in dealing with a crisis, such as how to get on the front foot when your charity finds itself on the front pages. It includes a case study from the chief executive of Muslim Aid, on how his charity survived financial irregularities, a statutory inquiry and an interim manager. There is also a feature on learning to love your risk register, as prevention is better than cure.

Elsewhere, this month's magazine features a special report that looks at whether the Charity Commission in Northern Ireland is in crisis, and an article on how to achieve strong financial governance.
