The Association of Charitable Foundations has announced a complete rebrand of its logo, newsletter and website, to “better reflect” the “unity and diversity of the ACF membership”.

The rebrand is a culmination of several months of “ongoing development” work which began with feedback received from the group’s Giving Trends publications last year, the ACF said.

A spokesman for the group said the feedback was “incredibly positive”, enabling it to improve “what we offer to members” and “better showcase the research and learning that is generated within ACF membership".

"Over the past few months, ACF has been working hard to update our visual brand, starting with our research publications, moving through to Trust and Foundation News, a new logo and in the coming months a new website,” the spokesman said.

According to ACF, the logo rebrand was built into the website redesign at a cost of “basically zero”.

“The logo redesign has been carried out under the umbrella of our new website development, allowing us to update our branding at no extra cost while also ensuring visual coherence across our outputs,” the spokesman told Civil Society News.

“In terms of cost… it was hard work but obviously we have to be careful with member funds.”

The group’s rebrand is due for completion with the launch of its new website “currently on track to launch in early summer", the spokesman said.

A foreword in the organisation's newsletter published last week, said the redesign was “in line with our overall aim to service our members better”.

“By the end of 2015 ACF can confidently state that our aesthetics adequately represent our standing, our ambitions and the quality of our membership offering,” Trust and Foundation News said.

ACF specialises in providing support for UK-based grant-making trusts and foundations. Its membership of over 300 includes “many large independent foundations; local and community trusts; family trusts; corporate foundations; and broadcasting appeals”, according to information published on its website.
