Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has appointed Heather Love as its new chair.

Love (pictured) has been a trustee with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home since 2003 and is the founder of toiletries company Original Sources.

Commenting on her new role, Love said:  “Over the past seven years, the Home has become a very special place for me and, in my new role,  I look forward to working closely with my fellow Trustees, Battersea’s management team and the dedicated group of employees and volunteers.”
