Auction website Buy Once Give Twice will re-emerge this month under a new brand six months after being bought by two investors.
The site will be rebranded as Giving Lots on April 19, but a statement from the company says that while a new ‘look and feel’ refresh of the site itself is in the pipeline, the service will remain the same as before the name change.
The change in name reflects an expansion of the company since its birth in April 2008 when it was focused on re-selling items from charity auctions which had not been used. The site currently hosts first-time auctions and other fundraising services.
This change follows a buyout of Buy Once Give Twice by two private investors in November last year.
