Charity Tax Group has launched a new website and online guide to tax for charities, intended to help charities find their way “through the increasingly complicated tax landscape”.
At its Charity Tax Conference yesterday, John Hemming, chair of CTG officially launched the new website. It features “an interactive version of the Charity Tax Map” as well as a new feature which will allow users to “personalise what you get updated on and how often you want to receive the information”.
The new digital Charity Tax Map allows users to “navigate by activity” allowing readers to “review very quickly all the taxes that that might be involved in a particular activity” as well as links to related HMRC guidance.
Hemming said that the new website represented a “major investment” by CTG and that both the Nuffield Foundation and the RNLI helped to fund the project.
“This new project has been a major investment by CTG and we are grateful to the Nuffield Foundation who funded the digitisation of the Tax Map and the RNLI, who helped to fund the new website, and to all those who contributed their time and expertise”.
CTG has also updated its branding. Civil Society News has inquired as to how much the website re-design and rebranding cost.
