Jane Tully, deputy director of policy at CFG, has been appointed head of insight and engagement at debt advice charity the Money Advice Trust.
She left her role at the CFG yesterday and will start at the Money Advice Trust on 23 April. She will oversee the Trust’s communications, policy and insight teams, and help to drive strategies to improve the UK’s money and debt environment.
Joanna Elson, chief executive of the Money Advice Trust, said: “We’re excited to welcome Jane into a new role at the Trust.
“Jane’s experience and skills will help us further embed this reputation and drive significant improvements to the UK’s money and debt environment.”
While at CFG, Tully led on policy, public affairs, research and media work. Prior to that she worked for the Charity Commission, where she led the regulator’s work on the impact of the economic downturn on the charity sector.
Tully said: “I'm very pleased to be joining the Money Advice Trust, a fantastic charity with a great track record.
“Despite the recent upturn in the economy, there is more need for free debt advice than ever, making the Trust’s role in providing direct support and in improving the UK's money and debt environment increasingly important.”
A spokeswoman for CFG said it has yet to recruit Tully’s replacement.
The Money Advice Trust is a charity which was formed in 1991 to help people across the UK tackle their debts and manage their money wisely.
