BBC journalist Louise Minchin will host this year’s Charity Awards, which will take place in the grounds of the Tower of London for the first time.
The Charity Awards take place on Thursday 8 June at the Pavilion in the grounds of the Tower of London. It is Civil Society Media’s annual awards programme which is held to identify, recognise and reward those organisations doing exceptional work in all areas of charitable activity.
Minchin is one of the main presenters of BBC Breakfast, and has previously anchored news bulletins on BBC1 and the News Channel.
The shortlist for the year’s awards will be published on Wednesday 10 May, and the winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony and gala dinner at the Pavilion in the grounds of the Tower of London on Thursday 8 June.
