For the second year running, the British Red Cross director of fundraising Mark Astarita has been voted the most influential person in fundraising.
Astarita, also the chair of the Institute of Fundraising, took out the number one position by quite a margin.
Astarita was one of three fundraising directors to have made it into the top five; he was joined by ex-Red Cross Liz Tait, now director of fundraising at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home (in third position), and Catherine Miles from Anthony Nolan (fifth).
It was a record year for women in the Most Influential, with 19 making it into the top 50.
