Race for Life has topped a list of the 20 highest earning mass participation events, raising £51m for Cancer Research UK.
Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, which raised £20.5m in 2013, came second in the rankings, compiled by the events company Massive and published at the end of last month.
