Arts Council – Museum Estate and Development Fund
Grants available: Between £50,000 and £5m.
Deadline to apply: The expression of interest form will open on 4 March. The deadline for submitting is midday on 18 April. The full online application form will open on 28 May. The deadline for submitting full applications is midday on 15 August.
Who is the funding for? Capital investment in infrastructure and maintenance for museums. This is an open-access capital fund targeted at non-national accredited museums and local authorities based in England. The funding should be used to undertake vital infrastructure and urgent maintenance backlogs which are beyond the scope of day-to-day maintenance budgets.
When will you hear back? March 2025.
London Marathon Foundation – Active Spaces Fund
Grants available: £10,000 - £80,000
Deadline to apply: This is an open fund with opportunities to apply all-year round.
Who is the funding for? Organisations and community groups across London with projects that will improve and activate spaces, places and facilities where children, young people and underserved groups and communities can take part in sports and physical activities. Both capital and revenue funding are available.
When will you hear back? Applicants will first need to complete an expression of interest form, and will be notified within 15 working days if their project is eligible to submit a full application. Full applications can be submitted to several deadlines throughout the year, with the outcome communicated within three months (the next deadline is 19 April, with the outcome communicated by 30 June).
GoFibre – GoFurther Fund
Grants available: Up to £3,000.
Deadline to apply: 31 March.
Who is the funding for? Local charities and organisations in the Aberdeenshire and Angus area are able to apply for GoFibre’s £50,000 fund. Grants will go to those who meet the relevant criteria, including supporting the creation of work experience opportunities, developing skills and the local economy, promoting good health and wellbeing or actively tackling climate change and contributing to net zero targets in their local areas.
