Commonweal Housing

Grants available: up to £10,000
Deadline to apply: 29 September
Who is the funding for: Charities and other frontline organisations are being invited to apply for funding of between £5,000 - £10,000 for housing solutions for vulnerable people who have been involved in the criminal justice system.  
Charity applicants must have a proposed housing model seeking to address issues within the criminal justice system. 
When will you hear back? Unspecified.

Energy Saving Trust Foundation

Grants available: up to £40,000
Deadline to apply: 27 October 
Who is the funding for: Charities and other organisations providing youth-led projects focused on empowering young people to tackle the climate crisis are being invited to apply. 
Applicants must have an annual income of less than £1m and be based in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales or the north of England. 
Applications are a two-stage process. Applicants must complete a short expression of interest form by 16 October and a full application by 27 October.

Voltalia UK (Dorset)

Grants available: up to £5,000
Deadline to apply: 6 May 2024
Who is the funding for: Voltalia has launched a community benefit funding programme to support local community projects in Dorset. 
The fund will provide grants of up to £5,000 to projects within a 4-kilometre radius of Voltalia’s Clifton Farm Solar Park and Higher Stockbridge Solar Park, near Yeovil and Sherborne in Dorset.
Voltalia is inviting groups to apply to the fund via BizGive, with projects that bring environmental, social or economic benefits to the local area.

Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities

Grants available: up to £2m 
Deadline to apply: 11 October
Who is the funding for: Incorporated voluntary and community organisations, as well as parish, town and community councils are being invited to apply for the funding to take ownership of assets that are at risk of being lost in their communities. For example, sports clubs or community halls.
Applicants must provide at least 20% of match funding. 
When will you hear back? Unspecified.
