Fight for Sight – capacity building grants

Grants available: £10,000-£20,000.
Deadline to apply: 9am, 7 January 2025.
Who is the funding for?
Small charities and grassroots organisations within the sight loss sector, as well as collaborations between organisations within the sight loss sector and between the sight loss sector and external organisations. 
When will you hear back?
By 31 March 2025.

South Yorkshire Community Foundation – community grants

Grants available: Up to £5,000.
Deadline to apply: 9am, 20 January 2025.
Who is the funding for?
Community groups in Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield, whose work focuses on areas such as preventing crime and safety, poverty and deprivation, homelessness or social isolation in their local neighbourhood. Groups can spend the funding on capital work, revenue and/or service provision.
When will you hear back?
Mid-April 2025.

National Lottery Heritage Fund – heritage grants

Grants available: £10,000 - £250,000.
Deadline to apply: Unspecified.
Who is the funding for?
Not-for-profit organisations that care for and sustain heritage in the UK, with projects running for no longer than five years, that take into account the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s four investment principles.
When will you hear back?
Unspecified.

Kristina Martin Charitable Trust

Grants available: Discretionary amount. 
Deadline to apply: 31 December 2024.
Who is the funding for?
UK registered charities whose work supports those with mental health issues and provides support and activities which tackle, in particular but not exclusively, suicide, online bullying and grief, fostering hope and resilience, working both in the UK and beyond. Charities must also meet the eligibility criteria detailed on the trust’s website.
