LGBT+ Futures Equity Fund

Grants available: up to £1,000
Deadline to apply: 30 October 2022
Who is the funding for?
The funding is for organisations led by and for underrepresented groups in the UK. The charity will prioritise awarding grants to LGBT+ women, LGBT+ people of colour, older LGBT+ people, disabled LGBT+ people, and trans people. 

Larger grants of up to £25,000 will be available later this year.

The Wesleyan Foundation

Grants available: up to £5,000
Deadline to apply: 31 October 2022
Who is the funding for?
The Wesleyan Foundation’s Winter of Giving fund will award a minimum of 20 charities up to £5,000 this December. 

The funding aims to alleviate the pressure on charities during the winter period. 

Eligible charities must have aims that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: good health and wellbeing, quality education, gender equality, reducing inequality or climate action. The charities must be able to provide two years of accounts and be either a registered charity, not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, constituted community group or a school or college. Organisations can be nominated here.

Youth Endowment Fund

Grants available: No specific limit, but estimated £500,000 - £2m 
Deadline to apply: 25 November 2022
Who is the funding for? 
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) has opened applications for a £12.5m pot to fund six to 10 projects. This funding round, which is called 'A trusted adult', is looking to fund projects where trusted adult relationships are at the core of an organisation's project. In particular, YEF wants to support children and young people who are at risk of violence or exploitation.

Social Investment Business – Recovery Loan Fund

Grants available: £100,000 - £1.5m 
Deadline to apply: Unspecified
Who is the funding for?
The Recovery Loan Fund is for UK charities and social enterprises based in England, Wales and Scotland that are improving people’s lives. To be eligible for the loan and grant, applicants must have been operating for a minimum of two years, have a minimum turnover of £400,000 in the last financial year and not be subject to any insolvency proceedings.
