Social Investment Business – Recovery Loan Fund

Loans available: £100,000 - £1.5m
Deadline to apply: Rolling deadline
Who is the funding for?
The Recovery Loan Fund run by Social Investment Business provides loans to UK charities and social enterprises based in England, Wales and Scotland. A pot of more than £4m is available to charities to either continue or expand their current activities. Eligible organisations must have been in operation for at least two years, have a minimum turnover of £400,000 in the last financial year – or £200,000 if the organisation is Black and minoritised ethnicity-led, or based in Scotland or Wales. It must not be subject to any insolvency proceedings e.g. winding-up, administration, insolvency or bankruptcy. The repayment term can be between one to six years and the purpose of the loan can be for anything including paying off debt.

City Bridge Trust – Anchor Programme

Grants available: £50,000 - £150,000
Deadline to apply: 8 May
Who is the funding for?
The Anchor Programme is offering grants to charities or social organisations that have embedded equitable practice in their work and aim to support marginalised people due to protected characteristics such as race, sexuality, gender or disability. It is offering applicants grants of between £50,000 to £150,000 a year for seven to 10 years. To be eligible for funding organisations must have a minimum annual income of £100,000 and is for charities or social organisations based in Greater London.

Covenant Trusts – Reducing Veteran Homelessness Programme

Grants available: up to £500,000
Deadline to apply: 22 May
Who is the funding for?
Charities, housing associations or not-for-profit organisations that support homeless veterans can apply for up to £500,000 for up to two years from this fund. Organisations can also apply for an additional Enhanced Award of up to £250,000 if the applicant proves that extending a project will fill a significant level of unmet need.

Before September
