Benefact Group – Movement for Good

Benefact Group’s £1m funding pot is available to charities that are supporting education and skills, rural or community development, heritage, arts or culture and climate change.

Scottish Power Foundation 

Grants available: £35,000 - £150,000
Deadline to apply: 21 July
Who is the funding for?
Scottish Power Foundation is inviting charities from across the UK to apply for its funding. Eligible applicants must have been registered with a UK charity regulator for at least 12 months, have an income of between £75,000 – £10m and be working on a project that starts between 1 March 2024 and 21 December 2024. Charities that are working on projects based on education and training, biodiversity and climate change, art and culture and social initiatives can apply.

Social Enterprise Scotland - Just Transition Fund

Grants available: £20,000 - £400,000
Deadline to apply: 4 August
Who is the funding for?
Social enterprises in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray can apply for a share of a £2m funding pot to be used to support the third sector in transitioning to net zero. The fund is being managed by Social Investment Scotland (SIS) and is supported by the Scottish government. It offers £20,000 - £400,000 in a mixture of grant and loan funding to applicants that are addressing climate issues. Organisations must register their interest via email by 4 August.

Sport England – Small Grants Programme

Grants available: £300 - £15,000
Deadline to apply: 31 March 2024
Who is the funding for? 
Charities, voluntary and community groups and other non-profit organisations are being invited to apply for up to £15,000 in funding to help people become more active. Sport England will provide funding for coaching costs, service alterations, additional equipment and minor facility alterations. It will not fund general running costs, existing activities or projects that do not meet its programme aims of tackling inequalities and bringing the community together.
