Chief executive
The Dame Kelly Holmes Trust has appointed Gail Scott-Spicer as its new chief executive.
Scott-Spicer will take up her new role on 4 September and will replace current interim chief executive Tracey Fletcher, who was appointed in June.
She was previously chief executive of Carers Trust, which she left earlier this year. She has also previously held senior leadership positions with The Scout Association and Catch 22. Scott-Spicer has also held non-executive positions with the Money Advice Trust and Charity Bank.
VisionFund International, the microfinance arm of World Vision, has announced the appointment of Michael Mithika as its chief executive and president.
Mithika, who has been a non-executive director of VisionFund since 2011, will be moving to London from Nairobi to take up his new role which starts in October this year.
Registered charity Gloucestershire Rural Community Council (GRCC) has appointed Janice Banks as its new chief executive.
Banks has previously been interim chief executive at two other rural community councils and was also the chief executive of Action with Communities in Rural England, the national umbrella body for rural community councils.
Alongside her experience working with RCCs, Banks has also worked in the private sector in the past with a number of building societies and housing associations, including Nationwide and Sovereign Housing.
