Helen Fraser
Helen Fraser has been chief executive of the GDST (Girls' Day School Trust) since 2010, during which time she has overseen an exciting period of change and renewal.
Before that she had a long career in book publishing. Her publishing career began at Methuen Academic and included stints at William Collins, William Heinemann and as managing director of Reed Consumer Books for Reed Elsevier. It culminated in 13 years as managing director of Penguin UK. Helen was awarded a CBE for services to publishing in the 2010 New Years' Honours.
Helen has a first class degree from Oxford and is a passionate advocate of the benefits of girls' only education and women's empowerment.
